Mr. Deal is responsible for generating private investor commitments, identifying program eligible projects, underwriting projects, and loan portfolio administration. Serving in the banking industry for 35 years, his primary focus area has been community development banking. He has held several management positions with what is now the Bank of America, including Vice President of its Community Banking Group. He further developed his community banking expertise as Senior Vice President and COO of the Harbor Bank of Maryland’s Community Development Corporation.
